Entyloma meliloti McAlpine

Description

Sori in leaves, forming minute round slightly raised spots 1.0–1.5 mm diam., often confluent and producing larger patches, usually brown at the margin and pale or dark-coloured at the centre, visible on both surfaces.

Spores globose, subglobose, ovoid, ellipsoidal or sometimes slightly irregular, with 1 (–2) flattened sides, 10–15 (–16) × 9.0–13.5 µm, pale yellow to honey-yellow; wall even to slightly uneven, 2-layered, 1–2 µm thick, smooth.
