Puccinia thwaitesii Berk.

Description
Telia on lower leaf surface, subepidermal, erumpent, linear, usually formed in concentric circles up to 1.5 cm diameter, black, peridium and paraphyses present.

Teliospores ellipsoidal to fusiform, apex acuminate, 2 celled, reddish brown, 31-41 × 18-23 µm; wall 2-3 µm thick, slightly thickened (3-4 µm) at apex, smooth, pedicel persistent, up to 94 µm.
