Description
Telia mostly on lower leaf surface, subepidermal, erumpent, elliptical, convergent up to enitre leaf surface, black.

Teliospores irregular, 3-celled, one germ pore per cell, reddish brown, 30-38 × 26-34 μm; wall 2-3 μm thick, tuberculate, with 2-3 nail shaped tubercules per cell 6-10 µm long, with persistent pedicel, 31-39 μm.
